Pope Ratzinger & Cardinal Law ... two of the most despicable people in the world

******

from The Christian Post (8/26/11) …

The Catholic Archdiocese of Boston has released a list of 159 priests who have been accused of child sexual abuse to protect children as well as assist survivors of abusive clergy, but activists say it’s too late and too little.

LMW COMMENT …

Why is Pope Ratzinger still keeping Cardinal Law (who was Archbishop of Boston during most of the problem) in a life of ease at the Vatican?

Think about this …

  • both are complicit in the sexual abuse of children by Catholic priests
  • both should be charged criminally and sent to prison
  • each can testify against the other.

There are very view people in this world who are as despicable to me as Pope Ratzinger and Cardinal Law. How many children had their lives ruined because of these two men, who refused repeatedly to deal with a problem that was right before their eyes? How despicable is it (still) to value the wealth and power of the Catholic Church above the well-being of the Catholics it is supposed to serve?
