* San Antonio Times’ readers disagree with the paper’s endorsement of McCain

Posted by Lew Weinstein on October 20, 2008

The San Antonio Times endorsed McCain. Their readers don’t agree …

  • It is absolutely unbelievable and mind numbing that the paper endorsed McCain. It is so out of sync with what America is wanting right now and that is change.
  • If you’re one of the sad 8% of Americans that think this country is headed in the right direction, then McSame is your man. If not, Obama, who is smarter and a better decision maker, is clearly the best choice.
  • btw…how much do you think the REPUBLICANS paid mysa.com for this ad?? 4 years from now, when everybody else is VOTING for OBAMA,AGAIN, this sorry news organization will be persuading us to vote for the next republican!
  • the editorial board could have saved a lot of verbal diarrhea by just simply stating the truth: if they would have endorsed Obama, the advertising cancellations from all the Republican car dealers, developers, and retailers would have been devastating.
  • This is quite possibly the most pathetic endorsement I’ve ever read. It’s even worse than the lame rationale this paper used to support Bush for reelection in ’04. It is safe to say that the editorial board’s credibility is officially in the toilet for they majority of San Antonians.
